Stuart Harris, Liverpool born designer took an interest in electronics, science and art at an early age, he was influenced by the upbringing of his artistic father and video game culture. After high school he developed his skills in digital arts during a gap year, creating a few small video games along the way. A year later he returned to education, successfully completing 3 courses at St Helens and becoming involved in the local creative scene. During his years at the college he developed a taste for the use of unique materials and the immediacy of graffiti in his artistic approach, complementing them with his taste for digital and techno style.
"My artwork often deals with minimalist forms which have a very refined and satisfying shape and the way these forms interact to form relationships or a greater structure or meaning. Material is key, I dislike sterile exhibition spaces. To have the viewer experience the extra dimension a carefully considered material brings to a piece is rewarding. Interaction is fantastic it gives life to a piece."
